For smaller or start-ups organisations, it is great to have demo videos to show your product/service, even if you aren’t confident about starring in these yourself!
Many video making companies offer packages to do this for you, but these often come with big costs. I have been reviewing some of the tools available which will allow you to create a presentation or video with narration:
Go Animate – https://goanimate.com/ – this is great software which is also great fun! It allows you to great a video using template scenes, characters (which can move), props and you can input your own text throughout and different compositions and slide transitions. It will also let you add music and narration to your video. The only downside I have found has been the limits with the zoom in composition and the sound quality for the narration. For this reason I used Audacity to record the narration and add this to the video afterwards. You can set up a free trial to give it go and then costs are from only $299 a year.
We Video – www.wevideo.com – this does not include animation, but stock pictures and customisable text and the business edition gives you access to more publish time and storage space, business subscriptions come with an additional user to let multiple people collaborate on the same video project. Business users have access to business specific features like screen recording and custom branding. Videos made with a Business subscription have a reseller license, meaning they can be sold to third parties. $159 per year
Powtoon – http://www.powtoon.com/ – another animated video creation software which uses Ready-Made Templates for plenty of business situations. It’s as easy as making a PowerPoint presentation. $59 per month for the business edition
I hope this gives you just some tools which are in the marketplace and will make your demo video much simpler and cost effective, and you may have fun doing it too!
